Henry Bond III
16 Feb 1936 - 22 Apr 2021
I awoke this morning to read the sad news that Henry Bond III, a beloved member of Hotlanta Squares passed away yesterday. Henry had a way of brightening up the room when he walked in. He loved our dances, especially the "dress-up" dances. This is my favorite picture of Henry. It's from our "Whoville Holiday Hoopla" in December 2017. It was a Dr. Seuss theme and Henry came up with this wonderful "Cat In The Hat" costume. We will certainly miss him. Sending thoughts of love and condolences to his family and many friends, especially those in the square dance community.

So sad to hear this! Henry was always so kind and welcoming to me personally. He always came over to say hello to me. Clara would bring him to my studio when she had a hair appointment with me and he always kept us entertained with his humor. We’ve lost a dear and kind soul, but heaven has gained a new angel! 💔🥲RIP Kind soul.😇

I will miss Henry. I was always amazed that he would drive so far to come dance with us at his age. We frequently discussed our common Episcopal views and traditions.
