Obituary

ANDREWS, Neil Lewis
After a valiant struggle against AIDS, Neil died peacefully and surrounded by his loved one in his home in Vancouver on Monday morning November 21, 1994. He was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on November 2, 1958, where he attended William Grayson Elementary School and Vanier Collegiate Secondary School. In 1981 he obtained his Bachelor of Administration degree with distinction from the University of Regina. Neil took a position as a financial analyst with SaskTel Corporation followed by graduate studies in Engineering Economics at Iowa State University. In 1983 he moved to Ottawa as a financial analyst for Canada Post Corporation and in 1991 transferred to Vancouver. It is with love and sorrow that he is remembered by his partner, George Schulze; his parents, Ronald and Valerie Andrews of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan; sister, brother-in-law and nephew Carol, Donald and Scott Silver of Red Deer, Alberta; brother, sister-in-law and nephews, Jeff, Gisela, Derek and Stefan Andrews of Vancouver, B.C. and sister, Gilliam Andrews of Vancouver, B.C. We will celebrate Neil's life with a Memorial Service to be held at At. Helen's Anglican Church, 4405 West 8th Avenue, Vancouver, on Wednesday, November, 30th at 2 p.m. It was Neil's wish that a donation to the Vancouver PWA Society (604-893-2250) be considered in lieu of flowers.[1]
