Thomas Vernon Gregory
09 Nov 1944 - 15 Apr 1990
Foggy City Dancers

After courageously fighting AIDS-related illnesses for more than two years, Tom left this physical world on Easter Sunday. Tom moved to San Francisco in 1978 from Washington, D.C. He continued to work for the federal government until retiring in 1988 with more than 25 years service. Although retired, he continued his participation with the Federal Lesbians and Gays. Tom was also an avid square dancer, acting as an officer, member of the board of directors, editor of the newspaper and co-captain on the performance team for Foggy City Dancers. Tom also devoted many volunteer hours not only at the local level but also at the Quilt displays in DC. During this last year Tom also became actively involved with the Marine Area Network Services, speaking at local schools on the AIDS epidemic. His support and enthusiasm will be greatly missed.
During these last months, Tom's parents, Eva and Noel, left their home in Florida to be with Tom, expressing their unconditional love and support. For details regarding the memorial service, please call 861-3268.
