Mom eating a hot dog, taken at the Chicago Costco. She had never been to a Costco before, and this started a several year tradition of my renting a car (via Zipcar) to drive her to Costco to pick up such essentials as bags of crumbled bacon boxes of chocolate, and Zion National kosher hot dogs, among other delicacies. All of Mom's girlfriends were jealous because THEIR sons didn't take THEM to Costco for $1.50 jumbo kosher hot dogs. (Several of their children were quite irate with me for "upping the ante" on them.) - Allan Hurst
