Janea A. Gordon, of Downingtown, died on Saturday, July 30, 2011. She was born on September 28, 1953 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the daughter of Charles and Frances Lague. She was the beloved wife of Gary D. Gordon of Downingtown and devoted mother to Sean (Nicki) Gordon and Colleen (Jeff) Gordon Hall, both of Downingtown. Janea was the work study coordinator at the Vanguard School, Malvern. She was a member of the West Bradford Fire Company, the Minquas Ambulance and the Red Knights Motorcycle Club (Pa2). She loved to travel, collect Charming Tails, and shop for a good deal. She was an active participant in several square dancing groups, but Janea's favorite pastime was spent lovingly spoiling her grandchildren, Brendan and Colin, who will miss her dearly. She is also survived by her father, Charles Lague, of Pawley's Island, South Carolina and two sisters, Mara Lague of Lakeview Terrace, California and Roz (Kevin) Smith of Huntington, West Virginia, a brother-in-law, Keith (Kathy) Gordon of North East, Maryland and a sister-in-law, Carol Gordon, of Kaneohe, Hawaii. The celebration of Janea's life is on hold at this time as the family remains focused on Gary, Janea's husband, who remains in critical condition at Christiana Hospital, Delaware. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted at Citadel Federal Credit Union, c/o the Janea Gordon Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 650, Exton, PA 19341. Contributions will be distributed to those organizations dear to her heart.
