Obituary

Kevin M. Boyle, R.N., 41, of Eastham, Mass, formerly of Barnesville, died Dec. 6 at home. Born in Pottsville, he was a son of Tesea Purcell Boyle, Park Crest, Barnesville, and the late Eugene Boyle. He was a 1976 graduate of Marian Catholic High School, Hometown, and received a bachelor’s degree in 1980 from Temple University, Philadelphia. In 1994, he graduated with honors from Dorothea Hopfer School of Nursing, Mount Vernon Hospital, New York.

He began a theater career as a publicist on Broadway, New York City. Among his credits were “Nine The Musical,” “Baby” and the Tony-award winning “The Tap Dance Kid.” He founded and operated PR Plus, a public relations firm specializing in corporate communications.

He later pursued a nursing career, employed as a nurse at Cape End Manor, Cranbury Point, Cape Cod Hospital Extended Care Pavilion and Hospice of Cape Cod, Mass. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a brother, Richard, New York City; aunts and uncles.

Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Richard’s Church, Barnesville. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. James P. Haughney Funeral Home, Mahony City, is in charge of arrangements.[1]
