History:
- From the Program Book of the 5th IAGSDC Convention, held in Phoenix, AZ in 1988:
- Cleveland City Country Dancers, Cleveland, OH was founded in May, 1987 by instructor Ed Schellhous. Introducing our community to country music was our first challenge. A milestone in our development was our performance at the Northern Ohio Coalition "We Are Family" picnic in September, 1987. October brought a membership drive at local night clubs which was a huge success. We now look forward to another drive in March and April.
