Location: Minneapolis, MN, USA

Started: 1991

Admitted to IAGSDC: 04 Jul 1992 as Full Member

Status: Folded, 2005

History: Founded by Billy Stroemer. The club was very involved in the Rainbow Room for the 51st National Convention in Minneapolis June 26-29 2002.

From the Program Book of the 10th IAGSDC Convention, held in Seattle, WA in 1993:
Minnesota Wild Roses began early in 1992, due to the efforts of two Washington D.C. dancers who ventured to the Midwest. In April of 1993, we proudly graduated our second class of mainstream and first class of plus dancers. Marching and dancing in The Twin Cities Gay Pride Parade is an annual highlight and taking part in the festivities associated with The Gay Rodeo was great fun.
We are carrying on in fine style, even given the loss of our illustrious founders who bolted back to DC after two too many Minnesota winters. We're proud to announce our Valentine's Fly-In in 1994. Come join us!'
