History: Founded by Scott Simmons in 1996. Seldom had enough dancers for two squares, and with half the members driving up from Monterey and points south, we couldn't sustain the club after several key members moved away.

Dance Location[s]: First United Methodist Church. Also danced in the basement of the Vets Hall and the rec room at Harvey West Park. SC Squares danced in Santa Cruz Pride parades most every year, occasionally in Santa Cruz' holiday parades.
