Obituary

Barry D. Barlow
Sept. 30, 1953 - Feb. 21, 1992
Barry passed away peacefully and quietly at home at 11:11 p.m. with his friends Chris and Gary and companion of 10 years, TJ, at his side.

Barry was from Blackfoot and Pocatello, Idaho. After graduating from Idaho State University, he moved to Salt Lake City where he engineered the weekly radio broadcast of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, "Music and the Spoken Word," for KSL radio. He later worked as an engineering associate at Mountain Bell, transferring to AT&T in Dallas, Texas, in 1984. and to AT&T, Pasadena, Calif., in 1986.

In San Francisco Barry became involved in square dancing, AA/NA and the Rosicrucian order. An avid Lily Tomlin fan, he fulfilled a lifelong fantasy, making an appearance as Ernestine at Macy's the day after Thanksgiving. He will be remembered for his wit and gentle, generous nature.

A memorial service will be held Monday, April 27, at 7:30 p.m. at First Unitarian Church, 1187 Franklin St,. San Francisco.[1]
