David P.N. Simonsen

David P.N. Simonsen, 48, of 1004 E. Grover St. in Lynden, died of a terminal illness Monday in Bellingham.

He was born Oct. 18, 1939, in Ontario, Canada, and had moved to Bellingham last January.

Mr. Simonsen worked as control accountant for Appel, a California-based corporation. He attended Metropolitan Community Church and Bignity Church, both in Seattle. He also was a member of Puddletown Square Dancers, and had played in a Sunday morning bowling league.

Private family services already were held.

Survivors include his parents, Peter and Helmi Simonsen of Vancouver, B.C.; and his friend, Kenneth Bengpson of Lynden.
