Obituary

Harold Dean Willis, 65, of Nashville, formerly of Sacramento, Calif., died at 6:40 a.m. Sept. 3, 2008, at Hospice of Southern Kentucky after a long illness.

He was a retired teacher, a Methodist and graduated from Todd County High School in Elkton and Murray State University. He was a son of the late Jimmie Estill Willis and Betty Lorene Wells Willis. He was preceded in death by two brothers, William Ray and D.J. Willis.

Memorial service is at a later date in Muhlenberg County, with burial in Cherry Grove Cemetery in Weir. There is no visitation. J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, is in charge of arrangements.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Southern Kentucky, 5872 Scottsville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42104.

Survivors include two brothers, Benny Willis and his wife, Gayle, of Bowling Green and Clyde Willis and his wife, Jean, of Owensboro; a sister-in-law, Peggy Willis of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.[1]
