Remembrances

The Ottawa Date Squares began their existence in 1995 using pre-recorded cassette tapes and we danced that way for several years but there's nothing that compares to having a real in-person caller.

So, through EOSARDA contacts we discovered that Graham Ingram, a local caller, was available to teach and we hired him for weekly classes starting in 1998.

He called for us for several years.

Graham was an amazing caller and a great teacher with patience to rival a saint. His passionate devotion to square dance calling was a true asset to our club and his friendship has never been forgotten.

He passed away on March 7th and there will be a Celebration of Life ceremony on Saturday, April 15, 2-5pm at Zion-Memorial United Church, 37 Franklin Street in Carleton Place.

If you knew Graham, I hope you will join us there.
