Obituary

Harvey Allen Mills
Dec. 9, 1949—March 4, 1994

Our loving, sweet Henry passed away peacefully, surrounded by his mother and friends. Harvey will be remembered as a bright, energetic, caring man whose long battle with the complications of AIDS will serve as an example of tremendous courage to us all.

After attending the University of New Hampshire, Harvey came to the Bay Area in the early '80s. He lived for many years with his lover, Todd, who was a talented florist. Harvey's special gifts included mastery of the culinary arts. He worked for Guggenheimer in the food service industry until retiring last year. He was also an active member of square-dancing clubs and a participant in HIV-support groups.

Harvey is survived by his mother, Dolly Mills; his two brothers, Guy and Bill; and many nieces and nephews in and around Little Falls, New York. For all of us who knew and loved him. Harvey will live on in our hearts as a treasured inspiration. [1]
