Obituary

James M. Graham

Jim died peacefully on December 6 after a yearlong decline with AIDS. His ashes will rest alongside those of his mother, Marion, in Cameron, Missouri, where he was born 42 years ago. Jim is survived by his 83-year-old father, Paul, and his sister Paula. Four local friends, Jerry Stowe, Mike Kelly, Bob Leet, and Michael O'Neill got to say goodbye at the San Francisco V.A. Hospital two days before he died.

Jim will be missed in Sacramento where he made many friends during the 12 years he was here. Jim was a past member of the Sacramento Men's Chorus, SAGA Sports Bowling League. After working in office jobs and as a state employee, Jim spent the last few years providing home health care for others. He also leaves behind good friend Toby from Corpus Christi, Texas.

Jim was close to his family, spending time with them in Missouri and touring Europe for 3 weeks with his parents while he was stationed in Germany with the Air Force.

A memorial service was held in the side chapel at St. Francis Church on December 16 with Brother Ponchie presiding. Friends are asked to donate to the charity of their choice in Jim's honor.

Jim, we enjoyed your friendship! Be at peace dear brother.[1]
