--JODY HAMPTON: Long time Square Dancer (C2 or C3A level) and Round Dancer (phases 2-5) Jody Hampton of Santa Rosa, CA and Mesa, AZ passed away unexpectedly on about 12/6/24. Jody’s parents (AZ) both passed away about 2 weeks before Jody. Jody danced with Adobe Squares, Redwood Rainbow Square Dance Club, PACE and most anywhere else he could find to dance. He enjoyed Round Dancing and would travel around to find a dance going on!!! I got the word about his death from Marian Cook his last long time dance partner and friend. RIP Jody Hampton. I don’t know any more info about a memorial at this point. Please share this info. to others you know that Jody would also know. He travelled so much that he made acquaintances everywhere.

Remembrances
I first met Jody at Midnight Squares many years ago. He danced regularly with Redwood Rainbows on Thursdays when he was in the Bay Area often driving in from the Fairfield area where he had his RV stashed. Really funny guy. And an excellent lead in ballroom or round dancing.
I will miss him.
