Remembrances
Ken was somewhat reluctant to start square dancing saying, "I have 2 left feet!" After 4 lessons, he took a real liking to it. He enjoyed our classmates and found an activity that he never thought in a million years he would really enjoy. He even tried the girl part, although preferred boy. It was a real thrill to have him as a dance partner.
— Bob Sundal
Ken was always a positive person. He always had a smile and would give you some of his positive energy. He was a tremendous person.

When I think of Ken fondly in the future, and I will, the first word that will come to mind is "gentleman." From day one, Ken impressed me as a true gentleman with all of the qualities that you hope and expect to find therein - intelligence, humor, compassion and integrity. His passing is a great loss to the Chi-Town Squares family and creates a void that will be almost impossible to fill.
Sincerely,
— Claudine R. Kastner
Ken always cracked me up! I always liked dancing with Ken because he'd make the square so much fun. We always ribbed each other and I looked forward to shooting the breeze with him. Chi-Town has lost a really special person. Rest in peace, my friend.
