Obituary

CLIFFORD (Kip) E. NEWQUIST, II
Age 40, died July 4, at home, attended by family and friends. Architect. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford E. Newquist; brother of Allison Harvey, Sharon Chapman and Scott Newquist; uncle of three nephews, all of Portland. Memorial service to be conducted at Central Lutheran Church, 11th and East Olive Street Friday, 3 p.m., July 8. Remembrances may be made to the charity of your choice.

Clifford E. Newquist II
Memorial service for Clifford E. "Kip" Newquist II, a Seattle rchitect, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in Central Lutheran Church, Seattle.

Mr. Newquist dies Monday in Seattle of lymphoma of the brain. He was 4.

Mr. Newquist was born in Portland. He graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in architecture.

He worked for the city of Beaverton before moving to Seattle in the mid-1980s. He had worked for the past several years designing medical clinics for Group HEalth, a health-care organizaation.

Survivors includehis parents, Clifford abd JEanette of Portland; sisters, Allison Harvey and Sharon Chapman, and brother Scott, all of Portland.

The body was cremated.

The family suggests that remembrances be contributions to the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity.[3]
