Kitty passed this Sunday, Dec 1 2024 after a battle with cancer. When I joined the First Existentialist Congregation in 2004, she was already a member. I remember her talking about her long-lasting depression since 9/11, when she quit her long-time work as a flight attendant. She clearly missed feeling safe traveling all over the world. She was a regular attendant at the Sunday COLs and seemed to be one of the congregation members who constantly cared for the sanctuary, and especially the plant-life in it...which she watered religiously. She was also known for her dancing at any opportunity during a service, or other event, at First E, with Raymond, her then (and ex) partner, or anyone else willing.
