(Mike) J. Mohn Nov 15, 1947 - May 30, 2008 Resident of Palm Springs Mike was born in Hayward, CA, on November 15, 1947. He passed away peacefully at his home in Palm Springs, CA, May 30, 2008. He was a graduate of Newark High School, received his business and industrial management degree from San Jose State University and was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He received his Masters from the University of California Berkeley. Mike received the Representative DeMolay award, the highest individual award from DeMolay. He was awarded International Associate of Students in Foreign Management Traineeship and worked in a bank in Lillihammer, Norway for the summer. After graduation, Mike worked for Home Savings for several years then worked for Metropolitan Life until retirement as Vice President of Real Estate Investments. Mike is survived by his mother, Violet (Vi), Uncle Charles, David, sister-in-law June, niece Katelyn, and nephew Michael Mohn. Visitation, Thursday June 5, 2008, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA. Funeral Service, Friday, June 6, 2008, 10:00 am at the Mortuary. Interment will be at Irvington Memorial Cemetery, Fremont, CA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to donor's choice or Niles Congregational Church, 255 H. St., Fremont, CA 94536.
