Remembrances

Norman Borine was a friend of Dorothy Miller from their MGM days. He was a featured dancer and choreographer who appeared in many MGM musicals, dancing with such stars as Judy Garland, Betty Hutton, Mitzi Gaynor, Lucille Ball and Yvonne DeCarlo. Dorothy would bring him to our meetings. He was no longer able to dance, but enjoyed watching us, and the club made him an honorary member. He passed away in 2005. In 2007 his nephew Bill Borine published Norman's book "Dancing with the Stars," which told of Norman's adventures as a dancer in Hollywood.
