I visited with Karen, Rob Johnson's sister today. The cause of death was congestive heart failure. He had been on oxygen for some time and for the most part not feeling well at all. Hospice had been caring for him for a few weeks, as well as his sister. Moments before he passed, he wanted to sit up on the edge of his bed and told his sister with an excited happy face that he was going someplace really nice. It was about 8 pm. She told him fine but knowing they were going nowhere, she left the room for a couple of minutes and then came back to help him lay down. He had laid back and when she nudged him to wake, she realize he was gone.
His celebration of life will be on Saturday February 21, from 11 am to 2 pm, at the restaurant in Windsor Gardens:
