Obituary

Stephen Paul Sartor
Oct. 27, 1956-July 27, 1993
After a short courageoys fight against AIDS-relared PML, you found your way to the loving arms of Goz Lyv, your life-partner of 15 years. You left us, surrounded by love, in the presence of your beloved mother Rita and sisters Dyan and Kathy.

Born in Toronto, Stephen graduated in 1980 with a B.A. in math, majoring in computer science. He lived with Goz in British Columbia and in 1986 they moved to San Francisco. As a senior software engineer, he designed, produced and co-ordinated many programs in use today.

Stephen was a gentle, giving person and peace-maker. His quiet hunmor and subtle wit was always there. He was active in western dancing, the boxing club, and enjoyed being "on-line" with other Mac users.

Survived in Canada by his loving father, Joe; stepmother, Cindy; stepbrother, stepsisters, brothers, David, Chris and Geoff; stepfather, Vix; grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Special thanks to friends, Kurt Schwab and Bill Dunlap, the doctors, nurses and volunteers of Davies Medical Center, who gave their love, support and guidance to the family. Their special care helped Stephen on his journey to a better place.

A memorial will be held in Toronto. Donations in Stephen's memory may be made to Project Open Hand, 2720 18th Street, SF.[1]
