History: Temple Squares, Utah’s only LGBTQ+ square dance club, was first organized in 1993. The only problem at that time…no caller could be found.
In 2008, after our first club caller (Ross Crawshaw-Lopton) moved to town, we were off and running! Justin Crawshaw-Lopton and Ross Crawshaw-Lopton were joined at Utah Pride that year by Allan Hurst (who alternated calling demo/intro tips with Ross) and Randy Hensley (acting as a "booth babe") to help recruit potential dancers...and the rest is history!
