SKINNER — Allen Darcy Skinner died June 22, 2001, of Progressive Multifocal Leukoencephalopathy at the Pallative Care Ward, St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, B.C. Mr. Skinner was born June 6, 1959 in Edmonton, Alberta. He moved to Vancouver, B.C. in 1985. He was an employee of the Sutton Place Hotel in Vancouver, B.C. Survivors include his father and stepmother, George and Myrna of Barrhead, Alberta, brother Darrell, sisters, Sandy and Shelley of the greater Edmonton, Alberta area, and his close friends Colin Clark and Ward Hunting, Rosemary Mohr of Vancouver, B.C. and Michael McMullen of Portland, Oregon. His mother, Joyce, predeceased Mr. Skinner. Remembrances to Vancouver AIDS Society or the Pallative Care Ward at St. Paul's Hospital, Vancouver, B.C. A Celebration of Allen's life is being planned for early September.[1]
