Biography

Dr. Charles Lopiccolo is a psychiatrist practicing in Hollywood, FL. Dr. Lopiccolo is a medical doctor specializing in the care of mental health patients. As a psychiatrist, Dr. Lopiccolo diagnoses and treats mental illnesses. Dr. Lopiccolo may treat patients through a variety of methods including medications, psychotherapy or talk therapy, psychosocial interventions and more, depending on each individual case. Different medications that a psychiatrist might prescribe include antidepressants, antipsychotic mediations, mood stabilizers, stimulants, sedatives and hypnotics. Dr. Lopiccolo treats conditions like depression, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, bipolar disorders, personality disorders, insomnia, ADD and other mental illnesses.^[1]

Our church has lost many good humans this year. Sunshine Cathedral- It is with sadness that we share the news of the passing of Dr. Charles LoPiccolo on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
Charlie was a key volunteer in the Loaves & Fishes ministry, a faithful contributor, and the originator of our Television ministry. Before we hired staff to record and broadcast our services, and long before we partnered with a professional production company, we had a psychiatrist donating equipment and learning how to use it so that we could have a meaningful presence on the worldwide web. Our first online discussions and educational programs were the result of Charlie's vision and generosity.
We will miss Charlie and forever be grateful for his commitment to the Sunshine Cathedral.
