Obituary

William Charles "Gus" GUSTAFSON Born August 28, 1937, died July 26, 2002. Gus graduated from the University of Illinois with a doctorate in load dynamics and spacecraft analysis with a specialty in structural engineering. He was a supervisor in technical staff organization for the Boeing Aerospace Company. His last assignment was on the inertial upper stage program to put spacecraft in orbit. Gus worked for the Boeing Company for over 20 years. Gus was a gourmet diner, avid world traveler, bicyclist, snow skier and square dancer. He was a member of Wallingford United Methodist Church. He was also a volunteer for the Chicken Soup Brigade, and a member of Mature Friends. Services will be 7 p.m., Thursday, August 1, at Wallingford United Methodist Church, 2115 - N. 42nd St.[1]
