Remembrances
For those who may not have known Dean, he was an early meber of the South FLorida Mustangs from way back in 1977. Over the years, he migrated from there to Denver and finally to San Diego.
Dean's enthusiasm with the activity was infectious, and he stopped through Albuquerque a number of times in his travels. He was a great friend to us here in the Wilde Bunch, and I for one will miss him a lot.
— Bill Eyler
Dean was such a dear friend and such a positive spirit among gay square dancers. His impact on the development of the IAGSDC was profound, and his presence will be missed. Few dancers have taken the well-being of the association as personally as he did.
— Karl Jaeckel
