From the Program Book of the 6th IAGSDC Convention, held in New York, NY in 1989:
Dayle began dancing in 1981, when he went to a square dance class with his parents. He danced and called in the Pittsburgh area for three years, including first-nighter dances for handicap groups. Dayle has lived in the Washington, D.C. area for the last five years, where he currently calls for three clubs including DC Lambda Squares. When not calling, Dayle works as a computer analyst. He and his wife Tammy share their home with two Cocker Spaniels, Maax and Jaerod.
